Research Faculty
To see a list of all the faculty in the Department of Biological Sciences at Cal State University, East Bay, click here. Below is a list of our faculty that have active research labs and may have space to host undergraduate or graduate students in the lab. In the table at the top of this page you will get a sense for each faculty member's research area. Below the table, click on a name to review more specific details about an individual's research interests, see their lab webpage (if they have one) and how to best contact them. TIP: If you want to learn more about your research options in the Department of Biology, pop in to the office hours of a faculty doing research in an area that sounds interesting to you. Ask them about their research, tell them a little about yourself including research experience (if any), and before you leave ask them if there are any papers you can read to learn more. After reading the papoer, if their research stills seems interesting to you, stop in again to chat more and ask if they have any space. But come prepared! Come with a few follow up questions about their research.
